Person Renewal (Overhead Lines)

This e-learning package is designed to refresh the individual in relation to relevant health and safety Overhead Lines knowledge. It is undertaken along with refresher e-learning on the dangers of Impressed Voltage.  Please allow an hour to complete the e-learning and assessment.

The individual must pass the assessments for the package in order to renew their Person authorisation and be registered on the Energy & Utility Skills Register against the National Grid Electricity Contractors Scheme. 

The Person Renewal e-learning package is only available to individuals with an in date Person authorisation which has been completed since January 2020 at the time of booking and completing the e-learning and e-assessment package. Where an individual's Person authorisation has expired, then they must take the full day face to face Person course at National Grid's Academy in Eakring.  Please check an individual's eligibility for Person Renewal e-learning before purchasing.

When you buy the Person Renewal e-learning package, you will be sent an e-mail with an activation link. This activation link is sent manually by the EUSR team Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Please click on the activation link and follow the instructions in the e-mail.
